About this site
This website is run by Pally Life Development Society (PLDS), a nonprofit working with communities in Bangladesh. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
Using the site
You may use this site to learn about PLDS, contact us, offer to volunteer, sign up for our newsletter and find out how to donate. Please use it lawfully. Don’t try to disrupt the site or gain unauthorized access to it, and don’t use its forms to send spam, automated submissions, or anything harmful, misleading or offensive.
Donations
- Donations are voluntary.
- They are made directly to PLDS by bKash Send Money or bank transfer (NPSB), using the details on the Donate page. This website doesn’t process payments.
- PLDS confirms each donation manually, so the totals shown on the site are not updated instantly.
- Please check the details carefully before you send money. If you make a transfer by mistake or send the wrong amount, email us at fmr28@yahoo.com with your transaction ID and we will review it.
How donations are used
Donations are used for PLDS programs. When you give to a specific campaign, we use your gift for that campaign. If a campaign is fully funded, or can’t go ahead, we may use the funds for a similar PLDS program.
Volunteering and newsletter sign-ups
Sending the volunteer form tells us you are interested; it doesn’t create a volunteering agreement or guarantee a placement. We will contact you to talk about what’s possible. You can stop receiving our newsletter at any time by emailing us.
Accuracy of information
Figures on this site, such as people reached, amounts raised and program results, reflect PLDS’s records and are updated from time to time. Some figures are estimates, and these are labelled as such. We try to keep the site accurate and up to date, but we can’t guarantee that every detail is complete or current.
Intellectual property
The content of this site, including its text and the PLDS name and logo, belongs to PLDS or is used with permission. You may link to our pages and quote short passages with credit to PLDS. Please ask us before reusing our photos, logo or other content.
Third-party links
Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content.
Limitation of liability
We provide this website as it is. As far as the law allows, PLDS is not liable for any loss caused by using the site or relying on information on it. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh.
