Get to know PLDS
Founded in 2009, Pally Life Development Society has worked steadfastly in remote rural villages of Bangladesh to alleviate poverty and end the cycle of poverty that passes from generation to generation.

OUR MISSION
Replacing poverty with prosperity
Our mission is to replace poverty with prosperity in the lives of the extreme poor in the remote villages of Bangladesh.
OUR VISION
A healthy, peaceful life for all
A society where all people — irrespective of gender, caste, ethnicity, or religion — enjoy a healthy and peaceful life with full human dignity and honor, free from hunger and poverty.
OUR STRATEGY
Small groups. Integrated development.
PLDS uses small-group and community approaches to integrated development. Beneficiaries are selected by survey and financial status, and support is channeled through community groups: education, primary health, nutrition, sanitation, fish culture, women & children’s rights, and income-generating programs.
